PRIVACY POLICY

Flip Watch is a split-flap dashboard you can use as a web app or a Chrome extension. We collect the minimum needed to deliver the product: your email, a device key, and your preferences. We do not sell your data, we do not track your browsing, and we do not use ad networks.

• Email address — to authenticate your account (via Supabase).
• Device key — a random 32-character string we generate for you. Used by the screensaver, the Chrome extension, and other sign-in-free surfaces to load your board.
• Your configuration — the providers you've enabled, display name, optional location (for weather), custom banners, and (if you go Pro) custom stock symbols.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe stores and processes your payment details. We only see a customer ID and subscription status. Flip Watch never stores your credit card.

• Your browsing history.
• The contents or URLs of other tabs.
• Your search queries.
• Any personal data beyond what is listed above.
• Analytics about how you use other websites.

Configuration and auth data live in Supabase (Postgres) in a US region. Billing data is handled by Stripe. Content sources (weather, markets, news) are fetched by our servers and cached — these upstream providers do not receive any personal data from us.

We keep your data as long as your account exists. Email support@flip.watch to delete your account; we'll remove your row from our database (which cascades to all associated preferences) within 7 days.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in (standard Supabase auth session). The Chrome extension uses chrome.storage.local to remember your device key. We do not use analytics cookies or ad-targeting cookies.

Under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and similar laws: you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@flip.watch; we'll respond within 30 days.

Flip Watch is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

If we change this policy in a way that affects your data, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Otherwise minor updates will be reflected here with a new date at the top.
